Techstaff can engage a professional on an on-hired or enterprise entity basis.  Our clients use on-hired employees to manage projects, seasonal demands and annual leave. To streamline your recruitment processes and reduce your administration, we can manage your entire contingent workforce, directly hiring contractors sourced by you at a reduced cost.

All on-hired employees and contractors are thoroughly screened prior to selection, with at least two professional reference checks conducted on every placed candidate.  Skills, qualifications and work rights are verified, and where a position requires strong administration or mechanical reasoning abilities, we incorporate standardised testing into the recruitment process.

Retention of Contractors and Temps

Techstaff seeks to attract the best scientific and technical talent, and have a very high retention rate for contractors and temps. We work to build relationships with our contingent employees, communicating regularly and providing access to our employee benefits scheme.  This leads to greater loyalty, and assists us in achieving our notable contract completion rate.

Account Management

Our account management process forms part of our ISO certified quality management system. A dedicated Account Manager is responsible for ongoing management of contractors and temps, and undertaking regular reviews to identify areas for improvement.   For large volume assignments, we provide cost analysis reporting and will recommend savings where applicable. 

Health & Safety

Bayside Group's OHS team forms an integral part of our recruitment service, working with employers to minimise workplace risk and conducting regular site assessments.  Our on-hired employees have relevant insurance coverage and undertake an induction aligned with our OHS policies and procedures. We can also assist clients by managing the risks associated with the use of casual or contract professionals.
